Privacy Policy

Tropical Berry Harvest · Last updated: 12 August 2026

Tropical Berry Harvest (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a single-player grove cultivation game for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what the App does and does not do with your information.

In short: the App has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your photographs are analysed on your device and are never uploaded. Your grove is saved only on your device. We do not collect, sell or share personal data, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

1. Information we do not collect

2. Camera

The core mechanic of the App is reading light from what you photograph. When you grant camera access, frames from the live viewfinder are reduced on your device to a small set of numbers — seven spectral bands, a brightness value and a colour-variety score — which feed your plants.

3. Photo library

You may import existing photographs to read light from them. Imported images are read on your device only, reduced to the same numeric values, and discarded — they are not copied into an App archive and not uploaded. If you choose to save a portrait of your grove, the App writes that one image to your photo library with your permission and reads nothing back.

4. Data stored on your device

Your progress — plants, genetics, seeds, tides, spectral readings, codex entries and settings — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. It is not held on any server we operate. If iCloud device backup is enabled in your iOS settings, this local data may be included in your own encrypted Apple backup, which is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, not by us. Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from your device.

5. Support requests

If you contact us through our support page or by email, we receive the email address you provide, the subject you select and the message you write. We use that information solely to answer you and to diagnose the problem you report. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up, then deleted.

6. Children

The App is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Because the App collects no personal data and requires no account, we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support request, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Since the App stores your game data only on your device, you are in direct control of it: revoke camera or photo permissions in iOS Settings at any time, or delete the App to erase its data. For information you sent us in a support request, you may ask us to provide a copy of it or delete it by writing to the address below, and we will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law, including the GDPR and CCPA where they apply to you.

8. Security

Because photographs and progress never leave your device, the main protection for your data is your device itself and the iOS sandbox. Messages sent through our support page are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we keep the amount of information we hold deliberately minimal.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App’s release notes.

10. Contact
